Hatteso Amarone 2013

Garbole’s Hatteso Amarone della Valpolicella is a modern interpretation of Amarone, produced in extremely limited quantities with uncompromising craftsmanship. Only the finest, hand-selected grapes are used, undergoing a slow drying process (appassimento) to enhance their concentration and intensity. Following a lengthy fermentation and years of oak aging, a wine of immense depth, complexity, and elegance emerges.

The nose reveals notes of ripe cherries, plums, cocoa, tobacco, and spices; on the palate, it is powerful, velvety, and perfectly balanced, with a long, refined finish. Hatteso embodies the essence of Garbole: maximum expression of terroir, pure concentration, and timeless elegance.
